1953 was a good year for pick ups. In ’54, they changed the grill on the Chevy and it lost a little something. I’m not sure if anything changed on the Ford from one year to the next, but around here, the older the better.
We were headed home from the Finger Lakes area a few weeks back, and hung a yooey when we noticed a vintage car rally happening on the side of the road. We pulled in just as most of the hot wheels were pulling out. I flailed around a bit trying to see what I needed to see while there was still time. The creepy ’88 Mustang didn’t need to be home for dinner apparently…
